Dr. Esther Miranda began her journey into the field of education as a teacher & trainer in a pre-school classroom, where she developed an interest in the learning styles of young children. Her classroom was chosen as a model for new teacher orientation and training. She led 'Make-and-Take' workshops that allowed attendees to take back with them many useful tricks and tools to use in their own classrooms. In 1992 Dr. Miranda was awarded Kindercare Learning Center' Regional Best Classroom, and Most Enriched Classroom Awards.
As director of an Early Learning Center, Dr. Miranda created a pre-school curriculum and program that aligned with the Kindergarten school program, and designed the set-up of two new classrooms. Dr. Miranda led highly successful school wide enrichment programs, adopting the School wide Enrichment Model (SEM™), and trained teachers in the use of best classroom practices.
